I used a 750w power inverter to run a electric heater to bring the batteries down to about half charge. I also used a clamp on amp meter to show you the amps. The heater was pulling about 525w on the inverter. I will fill the batteries using the sun today.
Fourteen Harbor Freight individual solar panels from their 45 Watt kits. They are mounted on 2×4 frames with seven panels each giving 210 Watts of power for all fourteen. In the next couple of weeks we’ll install the other 14 panels for a total of 420 Watts, which combined with the previous 1600 of solar gives me 2Kw of solawind power also have 2Kw of wind power which I’m going to raise the tower to a total of 100 to 150 feet depending on cost. I expect the added height should produce 1Kw constant if not more.
