I just have the charge controller and the 500 watt grid tie sharing the same panels threw the switch. both inverters are plugged into a power strip and the power strip into the wall.

To tell you the truth, I like sitting inside the house with a cup of coffee and just watch the windmill (mine is more like a toy) spin. It’s like a lawn ornament. Tell your wife it’s good “Feng Shui”. The windmill will bring unceasing luck circulation.

I have spent most of the day putting together a solar panel out of 3×6 cells almost done just have to put the glass on it. then I will post the video. I was thinking of getting a wind gen. the wife keeps telling me no.

    Hi,
I am wiring together my low wattage windmill and I used the same 3 way AC switch to disconnect the battery to the windmill and then shorting out the windmill to stop it in strong wind.
I then read about the break before make switch and I wasn’t sure if the 3 way switch has the right breaking sequence. Not wanting to short out my battery, I installed an additional switch to disconnect the battery before shorting out the windmill.
Nice to know your system actually works.
